CLEAR THINKING GROUP OPENS WESTERN REGIONAL OFFICE IN PORTLAND AREA
LAKE OSWEGO, OR (4/29/08) — Nationwide consultants Clear Thinking Group LLC has opened a western regional office in this Portland suburb.
The office is headed by Brian Allen, managing director, Western Region. A resident of Tualatin, Ore., Allen also serves as a managing director in the firm's Turnaround Management/Financial Services Practice Group, where he advises clients on turnaround and financial restructuring initiatives. The Hillsborough, N.J.-based firm also provides retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers consulting services in areas ranging from corporate strategy to operations through its Process & Performance Management Practice Group, as well as a variety of services to general unsecured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings through its Creditor Services Practice Group.
Allen, a Certified Public Accountant, recently joined Clear Thinking Group, bringing over 17 years of corporate and public accounting experience, working with public and privately held retail and manufacturing companies. His background includes over eight years as corporate controller at Wilsonville, Ore.-based retailer G.I. Joe's, Inc. (now known as Joe's Sports & Outdoor), which today operates 30 big-box stores throughout the Pacific Northwest.
