CLEAR THINKING GROUP HAS NAMED MANAGING DIRECTOR JAMES BUNN A PARTNER
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ (1/8/07) — Bunn, who joined the firm in 2005 as a managing director and practice leader of its Process and Performance Management Practice Group, will continue to direct that group's operations. He came to Clear Thinking Group with over 25 years of experience in the consulting and manufacturing sectors. As a consultant, he provided services to a wide variety of retail and consumer product manufacturing firms in all phases of strategy, fulfillment, logistics, store operations, distribution/warehousing operations and systems implementation.
From 1996 to 2005, Bunn was a senior manager in Atlanta-based BearingPoint's Consumer Markets department, serving such prominent clients as Apple Computer, CVS, Circuit City, Longs Drugs Stores, Lowes, Macy's West, Nieman Marcus, Revlon and Staples. From 1988 to 1996, he was a manager for The Garr Consulting Group, a subsidiary of Deloitte and Touche, where he provided services to retail firms in all phases of operations and logistics.
Prior to moving into consulting, Bunn spent eight years at Lockheed-Georgia Company, Marietta, Ga., as a cost analysis coordinator and financial analyst. From 1973 to 1977, he served in the U.S. Army, rising to the rank of Captain. Stationed at Fort Belvoir in Virginia, he was an Executive Officer and Instructor at the Engineer School.
A resident of Marrietta, Ga., Bunn holds an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
